Miner's art work. Tribute to Franklin Delano Roosevelt, by Pete Toth, member of United Mine Workers Local 2148 in Pricedale, Pennsylvania, circa 1934. This moving work of art was typical of the support that Roosevelt enjoyed among working people because of the efforts of his New Deal administration to improve their lot.
